Rotoplastyc Presents Innovations in Spray Mixture Preparation at Agrishow2024

Spraying is the most frequently used crop management practice in the field, and it requires significant investment in both equipment and inputs. To optimize this process, Rotoplastyc has been developing spray mixture preparation equipment since 2012 and is now launching new innovations at Agrishow with the Speed Mix Premium line and the new Pre-Mix Units. The Speed Mix Premium line celebrates Rotoplastyc’s 25th anniversary, with models ranging from 2,000 to 9,000 liters in capacity. It also includes the Thermo line, with 3,000 and 7,000-liter models.
Speed Mix Premium
The Speed Mix Premium line brings a series of improvements and innovations resulting from the evolution of Rotoplastyc’s Speed Mix Turbo line.
One of the highlights is the mixture agitation efficiency, ensured by the double internal agitation incorporator, developed to completely homogenize the spray mixture, whether composed of liquid or powdered products. Available incorporator options:
-
750 or 1,000 L with hydraulic articulation for models 7.0 and 9.0 (trailer version), with working heights of 0.90 m and 1 m from the ground, respectively, facilitating operator access;
-
750 or 1,000 L fixed for models 7.0 and 9.0 (platform version);
-
250 L with mechanical articulation for models 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 5.0 (trailer version), with a working height of 0.85 m from the ground, facilitating operator access;
-
250 L fixed for models 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 5.0 (platform version).
Another feature that ensures mixture quality is the 13 hp auxiliary engine, for models 7.0 and 9.0, which keeps the mixture in the sphere agitated while a new batch is being prepared in the incorporator. The Speed Mix Premium line allows for rapid sprayer refills, thanks to a 3” motor pump system with a flow rate of 750 L/min, which increases sprayer productivity by more than 30%, reducing downtime. The auxiliary engine enables simultaneous refilling of two equipment, further speeding up operations.
Another innovation is the universal chassis, which is interchangeable between platform and trailer versions. The platform version can be converted into a trailer if the producer prefers a towed unit, or vice versa, simply by acquiring the specific parts for the new version. This gives farmers greater autonomy in choosing the ideal configuration.
Speed Mix Premium Thermo
The Speed Mix Premium Thermo line includes all the benefits of the Speed Mix Premium models, with one key differentiator: a spherical polyethylene tank with a thermal system, a technology patented by Rotoplastyc. This thermally insulated sphere is ideal for mixtures containing biological inputs, as it maintains the internal temperature of the sphere, preventing temperature fluctuations caused by sun exposure and preserving mixture quality for longer.
And the innovations of the Premium line don’t stop there. The spray mixture preparation systems feature a centralized control panel, volume scale, level indicator, ladder, and inspection lid, as well as a work light for nighttime operations and, as an optional item, a stainless steel bottle piercer.
Pre-Mix Units
The new releases in this line include two new models: 750 L and 1,000 L, bringing greater spray mixture preparation quality to the spraying process. The new Pre-Mix Units increase sprayer efficiency by 30%, as the concentrated mixture is prepared during applications and transferred to the sprayer reservoir in just a few minutes. As a result, downtime between one application and the next is significantly reduced, ensuring that the best spraying conditions are fully utilized.
These units feature double internal agitation with angled directional tips, making the mixing process more efficient, even with products that are difficult to dissolve. The anti-vortex system, in turn, prevents the mixture from spinning in circles and causing the products to settle at the bottom of the equipment. It creates a shock effect that breaks down the molecules, resulting in a more homogeneous spray mixture. With a better-diluted mixture, nozzle clogging is less frequent, reducing the need for maintenance.
Other features include an optional stainless steel bottle piercer and two rinsing nozzles, which speed up the operator’s work. Another improvement compared to the existing 250 L and 600 L Pre-Mix Units in Rotoplastyc’s lineup is the working height, designed with the operator’s comfort in mind during the mixing process. They are also equipped with a 13 hp engine, 3” motor pump, 3” suction and transfer hose, control panel, and a polyethylene reservoir. An optional drone refilling system is also available.
With these new launches, Rotoplastyc now offers a complete line for spray mixture preparation, with models ranging from 250 L to 20,000 L, including the Kombo Mix 20.0. Learn more on our website.
